Haldhar Nag spent his whole life struggling. My father died when I was 10 years old. Haldhar was then studying in third class. Haldhar had to do a lot of work in his life from washing dishes in sweet shops to selling ghugani in the streets. But his talent never gave up on life. Mother Saraswati's blessing was on Haldhar, who studied up to the third grade, so every time she held a pen, the pearl of literature fell from her hand.
He started writing short stories in Kosli language from an early age. He started practicing poetry when he was a little older. In 1990, the first poem, Dhodo Bargacha, was published in a local newspaper. Then he sent four more poems to that magazine. They are also published one by one.
After that Haldhar did not have to look back. Literary critics from the common man to the praise written one after another. Sambalpur University has published 'Haldhar Granthabali' compiling all his poems. Preparations for the second part of this book are also underway.
