There are ten areas of the state identified as Hotspot. The government has decided to seal the lockdown.
Sealing it as a hotspot means that no one from that region will be able to get out of the area. No one can enter the area even from outside. Urgent essentials like the needs of the citizens will be delivered to their homes. The situation is going to create a lot of jail time. This sealed process is going to be even worse than Lockdown.
Full lockdown status can be issued in 5 places for 5 days. Among these are Kalimpong and Alipurduar in north Bengal. Besides, South Bengal also includes Haldia, Howrah, Agra, Kolkata Pocket Area, Dumdum Pocket Area, Salt Lake Pocket Area, North and South 25 Parganas.
After sealing, the hotspot areas will be kept under surveillance system. So that no one can enter or exit those areas. For this reason, these three-tier areas are being constructed by the government on behalf of the whole or the Panchayat area, outside its village or other area. The state has been informed that the government has been forced to take this step after considering the safety of the state in a very neutral manner.
