“After my speech yesterday, the West Bengal government has woken up,” said Mamata.

BanglaHunt Desk: Mamata Banerjee tweeted that the state government will run 105 trains for migrant workers. After this, railway minister Piyush Goyel attacked this tweet. Derek and Brian gave the opposite answer. All in all, the issue of repatriation of migrant workers is once again a hotbed of politics

The state is not keen on repatriating migrant workers, a long-standing allegation by opponents. The controversy erupted once again when Mamata Banerjee announced 105 trains. Attacking Mamata, the Railway Minister tweeted, “The West Bengal government has woken up from its deep sleep after my speech yesterday. The government there has so far allowed only six trains for migrant workers and I have applied to allow them to run more trains as a large number of workers in West Bengal are away from home.

However, the Trinamool did not forget to respond to the attack of the Railway Minister. Rajya Sabha MPs Derek and Brian tweeted that the minister had not been seen during the plight of millions of poor workers. In other words, Derek suddenly raised the question of why the minister is so worried.

Amit Shah's home ministry had written to the state saying the state government was not active enough with migrant workers. Where it is clearly alleged, “The West Bengal government is not allowing the train carrying the expatriate workers to enter the state, it is unfair to them. This will create more problems for them. ”

Earlier, impatient Ranjan Chowdhury had also spoken out against the Chief Minister on the same issue. He said, “Workers are stuck in different parts of the country. Suffering from severe financial crisis. Not getting food. All roads back home are closed. The state is not taking adequate measures. The workers are calling me and crying. ”
He added that he had discussed the matter with Railway Minister Piyush Goel in the interest of the workers. There, through the Railway Minister, he came to know that only 2 trains were requested from Bengal on behalf of the state to return the workers. Which, of course, made the video an overnight sensation.
