Ajay Devgn praised Prime Minister Modi for the success of Ayushman Bharat

In September 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Jan Arogya Yojana-Ayushman Bharat project. It is claimed to be the largest government health project in the world. On Wednesday, the Prime Minister wrote on Twitter, “It is a matter of pride for every Indian that Ayushman has surpassed one crore beneficiaries in India.” The project has had a positive impact on the lives of many people in less than two years.

The Prime Minister congratulated all the beneficiaries and wished them well. He praised the role of doctors, nurses, health workers and others associated with Ayushman Bharat. “The initiative has won the trust of many Indians, especially the poor,” he wrote. Beneficiaries get high quality medical care in this project.

During his official visit, Modi spoke to the beneficiaries of the project. “Sadly, that is not happening nowadays,” he wrote. The Prime Minister also shared an audio clip of Modi's conversation with Puja Thapar of Meghalaya, one of the crore beneficiaries.
