Akhtar threatens to kill after match, Uthappa roars after 14 years ago

Bangla Hunt Desk: Former Pakistan star and fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has always dominated the batsmen with his speed and bounce. His pair matched the burden of intimidating the batsmen. If a batsman beats Shoaib Akhtar well, Akhtar can do whatever he wants to avenge him. And such an incident happened exactly 14 years ago with Indian batsman Robin Uthappa.

The events of 2007. At that time, a one-day series between India and Pakistan was going on in Guwahati. India needed 12 off 25 balls to win a match in the series. Robin Uthappa and Irfan Pathan were at the crease. Shoaib Akhter was with the ball. Shoaib Akhtar threw a yorker 155 km to Robin Uthappa in the first ball of the over. However, Robin Uthappa understood Akhtar’s ball and he stopped the ball at the crease and Uthappa won the match by hitting two fours in a row with the next two balls.

Uthappa understood that the incident would not be good at all the next day. Uthappa said, “The next day we were all eating and drinking together when suddenly Shoaib Akhtar came to me and said that in the last match you came forward and beat me four times. But it is better not to do that in the next match. Because I don’t know what’s going to happen in the next match. Maybe insurance will fly over your head. ”
