Arnab Goswami, editor-in-chief of Republic TV, was shifted to Teloza Jail in Raigarh district on Sunday. In this context, Arnab Goswami's followers have expressed anger over the Maharashtra government. Police claimed that Arnab Goswami was using a mobile phone while in custody. Arnab Goswami has been sent to jail for this reason.
Police claim they confiscated Arnab's mobile phone on November 4. However, police authorities claimed that Arnab Goswami was active on social media using someone else's mobile.
While taking Arnab Goswami to Teloza jail, he said from the police van that he was beaten by the police at Alibag jail. Arnab Goswami complained that he was not allowed to talk to the lawyer. On the other hand, the followers of Arnab Goswami have expressed their anger against the central government and the BJP.
