According to state police chief Jyoti Mahant, MLA Aminul Islam, from the Dhing constituency of the All India Allied Democratic Front (AIUDF), was arrested on Tuesday morning after a preliminary investigation. An audio clip of the legislator went viral on social media. In an audio conversation with another person, he expressed his opposition to the Quarantine Center and the hospital.
He said the convenience of staying there is worse than a detention center. There are a lot of illegal immigrant detention centers in Assam. “We have filed a case against him under various sections of the Indian Penal Code,” Mohant said. He said that the Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly has been notified.
However, he was not arrested for comparing the Quarantine Center with the Detection Center alone. He has also been accused of spoiling communal harmony. According to sources, he says Muslims are being persecuted in Quarantine Centers in Assam. Hemant Health Minister Hemanta has brought this allegation by pointing a finger at the world-class.
According to the information received, he complained to the health workers that members of the returning members of Delhi's Tabligh church in the state were being ill at the Quarantine Center by injecting them with poison. He said there was no sign of coronation among the people returning to the Tabligh church in the state. And one has died in the state, for another reason. Action was taken against the Assam MLA's audio clip after it went viral.
