Bangla Hunt Desk: Unrest erupted during an anti-Islam rally in the Norwegian capital Oslo on Saturday. After this incident, the administrative officials went on strike and immediately stopped the rally. The rally was organized by an organization called Stop Islamization of Norway.

According to the news agency DPA, thousands of protesters took to the streets during the rally. According to the news agency NTV, a woman from the organization Stop Islamization of Norway tore the pages of religious books in this movement. The woman had earlier been accused of making hate speech and the government had taken action.

After the woman's action, people who opposed the rally threw eggs at members of the Stop Islamization of Norway organization and broke the police barricade, confronting the organization's workers. Police used paper spray and tear gas to control the situation. Police arrested 29 people in the incident. Many of those arrested were women and minors. Earlier, a similar case caused unrest in Sweden.
