Bangla Hunt Desk: Extreme controversy has erupted over web series violence. Five people, including web series director Ali Abbas Zafar, have been charged with insulting religious sentiments in Mumbai and Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh police team visited the homes of Ali Abbas and Gaurab Solanki, the author of the violence. It is learned that the team will also visit Amazon's office after that.
A case has been filed in Lucknow against five people, including director Ali Abbas, for hurting religious sentiments through the Tandob web series. Lucknow police also contacted the Mumbai Police Commissioner's Office on Sunday to co-operate in the case. A four-member team led by Northern Police Officer Anil Kumar Singh arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday night.

UP police official Anil Kumar Singh said, “We have asked Ali Abbas to appear before the investigating officer in Lucknow on January 26. His house was locked, there was no one in the house. That's why we put a notice in front of his house.
Uttar Pradesh Police also visited the house of Gaurab Solanki, author of the web series Tandob. Solanki's house was also locked. Police also hung notices there. A police notice on January 26 asked Solanki to appear before the investigating officer of the Uttar Pradesh police.
