Bangla Hunt Desk: A major accident took place in Palghar district of Maharashtra on Monday night. The blast took place at Nandolia Organic Chemicals in Tarapur Industrial Area of the district. The blast was so loud that it could be heard up to 10 km away. One person was killed and three others were injured in the incident.

The factory caught fire after the explosion, and firefighters rushed to the scene to put out the blaze. This banging sound can also be heard in the areas around Salbar, Pathal, Waisar, Tarapur, 10 km away.
Palghar district magistrate Kailash Shinde said one person was killed and three others were injured in the incident. The injured have been sent to hospital for treatment. On the other hand, several media reports say that gas has spread to the surrounding area after the blast.
According to the information received, the explosion occurred in the T zone of the industrial area due to a chemical reaction. The administration is currently investigating the incident.
