He said it would not be possible to start regular train services now, given Corona's extended case. A decision will be taken about the operation of the train in the coming days.

I would like to inform that the process of Unlock-4 has started in the whole country from 1st September. Now there are 230 express trains running under the name of Rail Special Train. Of these 230 trains, 30 are Rajdhani Express. Railways plans to run 100 more special trains. For this, the railways are consulting with the states. These new special trains will be run after receiving the green signal from the Home Ministry.

Passenger trains and mail / express trains have been suspended in the country since March 22 to prevent the spread of coronary heart disease. This is the first time in the history of the country that rail services have been announced in the whole country. However, the railways ran special trains for stranded workers in different parts of the country. Some special trains have been run on the capital route since May 12 and then 100 pairs of trains were started from June 1.
