Bangla Hunt Desk: Four militants were killed in an encounter with the Indian Army in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. On Tuesday night, the army received news that several militants were hiding in the village of Melhura in Shopian district. After receiving the news, a team of Army 55 State Rifles, CRPF and SGO cordoned off the village and conducted a search operation.
The militants started firing at the Indian army, seeing them surrounded. Indian Army jawans first ask them to surrender. After that the Indian army also started firing back in response to the continuous firing of the militants.
