BJP leader arrested for allegedly gang-raping young woman in Uttar Pradesh

Allegations of rape against BJP leader

The incident took place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. A graduate student was allegedly shot in the head and taken to a hotel and gang-raped 15 days ago in the name of BJP Youth Morcha vice-presidents Shyam Prakash Dwivedi and Anil Dwivedi. Colonelganj police arrested the two accused on the basis of the allegations of the victim. Besides, the young woman has also undergone a medical test.

Fear of harming the family is also seen

The victim further said that the two accused gang-raped her in March last year. Naturally, the question has arisen now, why the young woman did not tell the police anything? The victim replied that the two accused had threatened to harm her family. So for so long he has not opened his mouth in the interest of the family.

The BJP leader has alleged conspiracy

Local BJP leader Rajbir Singh Pehelban held a meeting in front of the house of a young woman in Hathras demanding the release of the accused BJP leaders. He alleged that the conspiracy was aimed at trapping the upper castes. An attempt is being made to tarnish the image of the Uttar Pradesh government behind this conspiracy.

At present the whole country is heated by the incident of Hathras in Uttar Pradesh. Opposition groups called for a state government to be formed in the wake of the Hathras gang-rape of a young woman. Lawyers have even demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
