Bangla Hunt Desk: Delhi Police has filed a charge sheet against Sharjeel Imam, arrested in the violence case on December 27 at Jamia University in Delhi. In that charge, Delhi police have charged Sharjeel Imam with provocative speeches, riots and giving anti-national speeches.

Let me tell you, Sharjeel Imam Aligarh, a student of Modern Indian History at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), gave a provocative and anti-national slogan on January 5th in a racket by a Muslim school. In that speech the Imam said that if we separate the northeastern states from India then we can force the government to obey us.
Sharjeel Imam was also accused of provoking speech by a student of Jamia Millia Islamia University. Sharjeel Imam's laptop and desktop were recovered during a search operation by Sharjeel Imam, who was hired there by the Delhi Police investigation. Sharjeel's mobile phone was recovered from Kako village in Jahanabad. Shargil's brother identified his phone.

Sharjeel Imam used to distribute a lot of misleading leaflets against mosques in the mosque against the citizenship amendment law and civic registration. Crime Branch has recovered many leaflets like this, Delhi Police said.
