Congress has given ticket to Brajesh Pandey for Motihari's Gobindaganj assembly seat.

The Congress candidate is accused of raping the minor daughter of a former Congress minister in the Bihar government. For this reason, he had to resign from the post of co-president of the Bihar Congress. Not only that, a case was filed against him under the POCSO Act because of this allegation.

Brajesh Kumar has also got a place in the list of candidates issued by the Congress. He has been nominated from Gobindaganj constituency. This seat will be elected in the second round. However, he had earlier contested from this seat. But at that time he could not win. He was co-president of the Bihar Congress in 2016 when he was accused of raping a minor daughter of a party leader. He had to resign after the case came to light.
