Contaminated water took the lives of 4 fresh children and more than 40 sick people


Banglahant Desk: More than 3 children have lost their lives in the last 5 days by drinking polluted water in Chapri village of Nahatta police station area. Besides, the child of one of the workers working in the loose boulder sector of the forest department area has died due to abdominal pain.

Among the dead were Ravi, a 10-year-old son of Nandalal Orao, Fulmati, an 11-year-old daughter of Gorakh Udan and Premshila, a 10-year-old girl, from different villages. After receiving the news of Nandalal's son's death on Thursday, the news of the death of an air child was heard from Chapari on Saturday.

After hearing the news of the death of children from different villages, the team of the health department reached that village. Chenari Congress MLA Murari Prasad Gautam said the children's deaths were being investigated in consultation with the authorities. He added that he has been in touch with the administrative authorities for some time now. He blamed the authorities for this and said that the children would have survived if they had been treated at the right time.

He added that about 40 people from different villages have fallen ill due to drinking contaminated water. According to experts, water is often contaminated with minerals in ponds that flow from mountainous areas. In this situation, the medical team including Dr. Sudhir Kumar, Civil Surgeon of Sasaram, reached the village itself and met the families of the victims. He also started their medical work.
