Corona Hospital fire victim's family to get Rs 50 lakh compensation, CM announces


Banglahant Desk: After Ahmedabad in Gujarat, this time a terrible fire broke out in the city of Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. A hotel used as a corona center caught fire. It is learned that 6 people have already lost their lives and 30 people have been rescued.

The fire department reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. According to sources, 22 Corona patients were undergoing treatment at the hotel. In addition, there were about 50 employees in the hotel. As soon as the fire started, many people were completely burnt.

Compensation will be given

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has expressed grief over the fire. He also directed an investigation to find out the cause of the fire. He announced that the families of those who lost their lives in the blaze would be compensated Rs 50 lakh each.

District Magistrate Mohammad Imtiaz said the fire broke out at 5 am at the Corona Hotel. However, it is initially estimated that the fire started from a short circuit.
