Bangla Hunt Desk: Corona virus cases have increased rapidly in India. The government extended the lockdown until May 3rd to prevent the outbreak of the virus. On the other hand, the Ministry of Health said on Saturday that about 25 percent of the corona virus cases in the country are linked to the Tablighi Jamaat. 5 percent of Delhi Corona virus cases are associated with Tablig church.

Lob Aggarwal, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Health, said more cases involving Jamaat have come out in Delhi, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Coronary infection has been found in members of Morocco in 23 states.

It is to be noted that the Tabligh Jamaats held a big religious meeting in March at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi. The area then became the biggest hotspot for the Corona virus. At least 5,000 Jamaatis participated in the ceremony organized by Nizamuddin Markaz, after which they spread to different parts of the country. There are plenty of foreigners among them.

Police in Marquez sent 2,700 Jamaatis to Quarantine. The whole country was attacked by the Jamaat-e-Islami. Then thousands of Jamaatis were sent to Quarantine from different states.

The joint secretary of the health ministry said the number of people affected by the corona virus in the country has risen to 6,900. Of them, 1,823 cases are related to Tablig. He said it accounted for 20.5 percent of the total victims. According to the Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours, four cases of coroner have been reported in the country and 3 have died. He said so far, a total of 12 coronary patients have recovered.
