BanglaHunt Desk: Rahul Gandhi once again fired at the Modi government. The former congress president took to social media to vent his anger against the center. He described the suspension of the central government employees' allowance as “insensitive” and “inhumane” on social media.
The central government has said this year that the D.A or expensive allowance for central government employees is being increased by 4 per cent. Dearness Allowance will be given at this rate from the first day of FY 2020. In other words, the central government employees were supposed to get the increased DA along with the March salary or pension.
Instead of suspending the multi-million rupee bullet train project and the central Vista beautification project, it is an insensitive and inhumane decision of the government to cut the dearness allowance (DA) of central employees, pensioners and the country's soldiers who are serving the public by fighting the corona.https://t.co/LTGPf53VsA

But in the Corona situation, there is continuous bleeding in the country's economy. In this situation, it has been decided to suspend the increased allowance. The Modi government's decision is expected to affect 49.28 lakh central government workers and 61.17 lakh pensioners.
Rahul Gandhi said, “It is a sensitive and inhumane decision of the government to cut the DA of public servants, central employees, pensioners and jawans without suspending the multi-crore bullet train project and Central Vista beautification project.”
The standard of living does not go down due to the relevant price increase, so government employees get expensive allowances twice a year. This increased DA is given mainly in line with inflation. However, different numbers of inflation are taken for cities, villages and mobs. As a result, it varies according to the DA. Besides, DA is never paid more than 50 percent of the basic salary.
