BanglaHunt Desk: After 9th, the green zones will meet the strict conditions. Today is a special meeting on lockdown.
After the completion of the second phase of lockdown in the country on May 3, the exercise of giving concessions to the areas identified as green areas has started under some strict conditions. However, the areas of the red zone that have been badly affected by the corona virus infection will not be given relief at present. However, the Group of Ministers (GOM) is working on a separate roadmap for Delhi, Mumbai, Noida, Indore and several other hotspot cities. In which cities, there is an ongoing discussion about what kind of concessions will be allowed for more economic activity. Hotspot areas will be sealed as before.
Sources say the government is considering not following the lockdown in the green zone after May 5. Areas that are infection-free or only partially affected areas in the Green Zone section. The lockdown will be lifted in such areas, but local residents will have to follow a number of stricter conditions, including wearing masks and adhering to social distance. Failure to do so will result in a lockdown in the area again. The ban on rail, air and international bus services will continue after the lockdown. However, the GoM will review the situation on Wednesday.
