DRDO successfully tests SMART supersonic missile in India


Bangla Hunt Desk: The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on Monday successfully tested the release of a torpedo, SMART's supersonic missile assisted release. It will prove to be a major technological breakthrough for stand-off capabilities in submarine combat. On the occasion, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, “I congratulate DRDO and other partners for this achievement.”

The Defense Ministry tweeted, “Supersonic Missile Assisted Release of Torpedo (Smart) was successfully tested from Wheeler Island off the Orissa coast at 11:45 am on Monday. This test is very important in establishing the capabilities of anti-submarine warfare. “

These tracking stations (radar, electronic-optical systems) can monitor everything, including coast and telemetry stations, as well as underwater ships.
