England need just seven wickets to beat England in Lajigobar on a spinning pitch

After losing the first match, the second match is very important for India because Virat Kohli will have to win the second Test to survive in the series. India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat. Batting first, Team India’s first innings ended with 329 runs on the strength of Rohit Sharma’s great century. In reply, England bowed their heads in front of the Indian bowlers. England’s first innings ended with just 134 runs with Ravichandran Ashwin taking five wickets.

With a league of 195 runs in the first innings, Team India went down to bat in the second innings. India’s second innings ended with 286 runs on the back of a great century by Ravichandran Ashwin in the second innings. Team India set a target of 482 runs for England to win. Chasing a target of 482, England are already under pressure after losing 3 wickets for 53 runs, meaning India need just seven wickets to win.
