However, one of the BJP candidates gave the most surprises. He is contesting on a BJP ticket from an ordinary vegetable seller in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Mrs. Girija J.K was contesting from Tirupuram on a BJP ticket. He lost to the ruling party candidate as well as the Congress candidate. The BJP is quite happy with his victory. According to state BJP leaders, the BJP is the only one that gives the opportunity to a common man to work for the people. They are also giving an opportunity to the women of the country to go ahead with an election ticket to a female vegetable seller. After winning the Kerala elections, BJP candidate Girija Devi is now a matter of practice.
