Banglahant Desk: Seven-foot-tall left-arm Pakistani bowler Mohammad Irfan had earlier claimed that he had ended the career of former India opener Gautam Gambhir. Irfan claimed that he could not see Gautam Gambhir or his ball in the 2012 India-Pakistan ODI series.
The Pakistan cricket team toured India in 2012. The Indian batting line-up was very strong at that time. The Indian team had batsmen like Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli. But the Indian team could not win that series. The T20 series result was 1-1 and the ODI series loss was 2-1.
In those five matches, Mohammad Irfan dismissed Gautam Gambhir twice. The seven-foot-tall Pakistani bowler had a great performance against India in that series. Then in an interview he said that Gautam Gambhir could not see my ball in that India-Pakistan series.
