An 18-year-old girl fell victim to the sexual lust of a group of seven miscreants. His grandfather was thrown into a well. Police have arrested 5 accused. Three of them are minors. Madhya Pradesh witnessed the fourth incident of rape during the lockdown. The incident took place in Betul district on Wednesday night. Betul Superintendent of Police DS Vadoria said that two brothers and sisters went down to fill the petrol tank at around 8 pm. From there the miscreants started following them. Seven people chased the siblings and blocked their way in an empty space.
The girl alleged that her grandfather was severely beaten. He was screaming for help. But his call did not reach anyone on the empty streets of Lockdown. He was then dragged to a well and thrown there. He then took the girl to a nearby forest and gang-raped her for four hours.
