Harbhajan Singh is the best offspinner in the world, Ashwin is not on the list.

Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan has topped Harbhajan Singh's list of favorites to become the world's best offspinner. However, Pakistan spinner Saqlain Mustaq was also heard praising Harbhajan Singh.

In an interview with Rohit Sharma on Instagram chat, Harbhajan Singh made it clear that Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan will be at the top of the list of the world's greatest leg-spinners. Muralitharan has taken a total of 534 wickets in ODI cricket and 800 wickets in Test cricket. Muralitharan has the most wickets in both formats.

Besides, Harbhajan Singh was greeted with a standing ovation from Pakistan's Saqlain Mustaq. Harbhajan Singh said Saqlain Mustaq was a famous spinner, his second ball could not be easily caught by any batsman. Saqlain Mustaq was a real match winner. He used to bowl in 45 to 50 overs in every match and took several wickets to throw the opposing team in disarray. However, the name of Ravichandran Ashwin could not be heard on Harbhajan Singh's face that day.
