Holy Amarnath Yatra will not be postponed, scheduled date will start from June 28

Bangla Hunt Desk: Amarnath Yatra will continue this year after the Corona Epidemic. On Wednesday, it was decided to postpone the yatra, headed by Shri Amarnath Yatra Board Chairman and Lt Governor Girish Chandra Murmu of Jammu and Kashmir, but minutes after the decision, the government reversed its old decision. This year, the scheduled time for this year's activities will start from June 23.

It may be mentioned that this year Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board announced to start its journey from 23rd June. But with the increasing cases and lockdowns of the coroner virus in the country, clouds of fear were concentrated on the journey. It was decided on Wednesday to continue the yatra, and an emergency meeting was also called for this.

The Shri Amarnath Shrine Board was formed in 2000. The Governor of Jammu and Kashmir became the Chairman of this Board. After lifting Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir last year, he is now the lieutenant governor and chairman of the Shrine Board. In August last year, the trip was postponed three days before the clause was lifted.

This 60-day Amarnath journey begins with a lot of security. The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided that all security measures should not be left to the Government of Jammu and Kashmir alone. Keeping in view the threat of militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen, the government has decided that this time more security will be given to them.

According to the Hindu calendar, the Amarnath cave opens from Purnima, the junction, which falls on June 25. This year the two-month pilgrimage will end on the day of Shravan Purnima (Rakhi Purnima).
