BanglaHunt Desk: If the age of a government employee is over 50 or 55, then you have to see the type of work. Whether that employee is involved in any corruption, or whether there is any inconsistency in his work, everything has to be properly investigated. And if there is a problem, then he has to retire before the appointed time.

Wondering what the rules are again? Recently, such a report was submitted by the Central Government. In other words, if a person cheats at work or has no experience in work, once it is proved, then he should retire immediately in the public interest.

A statement issued by the Union Ministry recently said that the work of government salaried employees will be taken into account as per Basic Rules 57 (J) and 57 (I). If the authority is not satisfied with the accounting of a person's work, that is, if there is evidence of negligence against him, then he will be compelled to retire under Section 47 (1) of the Central Civil Rules, 1972.

The statement further said that early retirement is not a matter of punishment. Such rules may be issued under the Central Civil Service Rules 1985 due to deviations in the performance of government employees. In other words, if a person has moved towards the end of his career, or has spent 30 years of his career, the government can retire those employees in the public interest.

The Ministry of Personnel has said that this service record review is going to be introduced in every central office. However, the idea is that this rule is being introduced only to judge the suitability of the person's work and to take necessary action.
