In Indian cricket, 35 gamblers were arrested from Pune


Bangla Hunt Desk: The black shadow of Garapeta in Indian cricket again. Gamblers have risen and fallen to tarnish Indian cricket. The second ODI between India and England was played in Pune. Maharashtra police arrested 35 cricket gamblers from near the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The news was reported by Pune’s Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash.

It is learned that the victims were not directly involved in the match-fixing, they worked as assistants to the big gamblers who were directly involved in the match-fixing. Police have arrested all the gamblers from various floors adjacent to the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium.

According to the police, it was the job of all these gamblers to inform the upper house about what happened.
In the second ODI, India scored 336 runs but lost to England by four wickets.
