In the one-day match, Pakistan lost to Gohara by only 141 runs


Bangla Hunt Desk: The ODI series between England and Pakistan has started. Pakistan and England met in the first match of the ODI series yesterday. In the first match, the Pakistan cricket team lost to England.

England captain Ben Stokes won the toss and elected to bat first. In the beginning, Pakistan lost two wickets in a row with zero runs. England bowler Shakib Mamud sent two Pakistan batsmen Imamul Haque and Babar Azam to the pavilion for zero runs. Despite being played in 50 overs, Pakistan were bowled out for 141 in just 35.2 overs.

Batting in reply, England lost just one wicket in 21.5 overs and picked up the required runs to win. David Malan’s 68 and Jack Crowley’s 58 gave England a huge victory. The loss to England by a huge margin led to a setback in the series as well as a burn to the Pakistan cricket team.
Shakib Mamud, the best England bowler of the match, took 4 wickets in 10 overs.
