India conducts successful final test of deadly anti-tank missile 'Nag'

Bangla Hunt Desk: Amid tensions on the border between India and China, India today took a step further in missile testing. India on Thursday successfully tested the final phase of the Nag anti-tank guided missile with Warhead. The missile was tested at Pokhran Field Firing Range in Rajasthan at 7.45 am. Developed by the Nag Missile Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).

The Nag Anti-Tank Guided Missile has been listed as a DRDO's indigenous warhead. In the last month and a half, DRDO has successfully tested at least 12 missiles. These missiles will be used to increase the strength of India's three armies in an unprecedented way.

The test of this missile is considered to be very important in the ongoing tension at the border. Recently, the DRDO chief said that the agency was working on making indigenous missiles for the army, adding that the DRDO was working hard to make India self-sufficient in missiles.

A day earlier, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh released a new version of the DRDO Procurement Manual to take Indian industry forward with start-ups and micro, small and medium enterprises at DRDO.
