On Tuesday, for the first time in 63 days, less than 50,000 cases came to light in the country. The death toll was about 600. According to the Union Ministry of Health, the total number of active cases in the country is 10.23 per cent and recovery from corona is 8.26 per cent. At the same time, the death rate from the infection is said to be 1.52 percent in the whole country.

According to Mohfw, there are currently 8 lakh 46 thousand 538 active cases in the country. A total of 8 lakh 33 thousand 328 people have recovered so far and 1 lakh 15 thousand 198 people have lost their lives to this deadly virus. In the last 24 hours (Monday morning from 8am to Tuesday morning), a total of 46,790 new infection cases have been filed in the country, the ministry said. And in these 24 hours 69 thousand 720 people have recovered. A total of 56 people have died in the last 24 hours in the country.

According to the health ministry, new cases of corona are declining daily from the five most affected states in the country, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Corona active cases in India are steadily declining. According to Mohfw, the proportion of active cases in the third week of October stood at 6.13 percent per day. According to Mohfw, these are the result of the central government's successful strategy of tracking, testing, treating and technology.
