BanglaHunt Desk: India is the world's most efficient country for digital operations, according to a study published by Gartner Inc. The survey also states that the United Kingdom and United States of America are second and third in the list. In the survey, 67 percent of employees working on digital platforms have adopted new technologies such as machine learning (AI) and Internet of Things for their work.
According to data from this survey, most Indian employees are interested in learning new technology in the digital field. More than 27 percent of employees are digitally skilled and 1 in 4 employees view new technology as a higher pay and better opportunity.
Technicians believe that the demand for skilled people in digital technology is far greater than manual or semi-skilled workforce. Singapore and India are far ahead of other countries in utilizing equipment for real-time support of employees, while the growth of China, France, Germany, the United States and the UK is not as noticeable.
The report states that 5 percent of Indian employees do not object that digital technology monitors their work habits. In fact, the digital revolution that has come after the Modi government's digital India project in India, is being seen as a crop.
