Indian batsmen played not for the country but for their own interests, Pakistan cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq said.

A few days ago, former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar remarked that India and Pakistan should play a bilateral series to help the Corona victims financially. The money earned from that series will be handed over to the governments of the two countries. This time another Pakistani cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq directly attacked the Indian cricketers. According to him, Indian cricketers never play for the country, they all play for their own interests and score centuries.

Inzamam-ul-Haq chats with former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja on a YouTube live show. “India's batting line-up was much stronger than ours when we were playing cricket,” he said. Indian batsmen used to score much more than us. But even though the Pakistani batsmen could not score much, they played for the country, while the Indian batsmen played only for themselves.

Inzamam said Indian batsmen used to score a lot of runs, score centuries but did it for themselves. They used to score so many runs so that they would not be dropped from the Indian team. On the other hand, Pakistani batsmen used to play for the country.
