Indian Railways may decide to resume passenger transport after the lockdown

Banglahant Desk: Indian Railways is going to partially introduce passenger transport. It is learned that in case of some special trains, passenger transport may be introduced with extra passenger fare. According to India Today, the idea behind the proposal is to help only those who have to travel in an emergency.

If the proposal is accepted, the railways can only start sleeper trains at first, AC trains will not run first. Only confirmed ticket passengers will be allowed to travel first, as the railways do not want to crowd the general class. Initially, trains will only run in the green zone and at stations that fall under these zones. The train will not stop at stations adjacent to the hotspot.

Passengers will be forced to obey several rules. One of them is wearing a mask and social distance. In addition, passengers will be physically examined through the Healing Bridge app.
The railways have made it clear today that it is not yet known whether the train service will start after May 3. Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri tweeted that. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has also expressed doubts about train and air services
