India's first electric tractor to bring Hyderabad's Cereal e-Mobility


BanglaHunt Desk: Electric tractors are coming to India's agricultural fields after scooters, bikes and cars. Hyderabad-based Celtial E-Mobility launches the country's first eco-friendly electric tractor. This tractor also has various modern amenities.

According to information available on the company's website, Celial e-Mobility is an EV maker. Who mainly build vehicles for passengers, goods, farming as well as airports. Since 2002, the company has already been able to save $ 2,700 (Tk. 4 million Indian Taka) from Singapore-based Angel Investors.

The company is targeting a further $ 5 to $ 1 million over the next six months. For the first time in India, they showcased its electronic tractor as a prototype. According to Siddharth Durairanjan, co-founder of 6 horsepower electronic tractor company, the equivalent of 21 horsepower diesel-engine tractors. On its own, the electric tractor is capable of moving 75 km on a single charge and can hold a maximum of 18 horsepower and a peak torque of 53 Nm.

Interestingly, the electronic tractor built by the Cellular e-Mobility can be charged with a power socket and its battery is replaceable. So charging the tractor will not create problems for the user. Besides, the tractor features all of the modern era that can be used with electronic vehicles, with a resilient brake, power failure, and fast charging.
