Jiah Khan Case: A decision may come tomorrow in the Jiah Khan suicide case. In this case, actor Suraj Pancholi is accused of abetting suicide. Jia had committed suicide in the year 2013. Now after 10 years the verdict is about to come.

Jiah Khan Case Verdict: Zia Khan Tomorrow, after almost 10 years in the suicide case, a Mumbai court can give its verdict. On April 20, Special Judge AS Sayyed completed the hearing of the case and reserved the verdict. In this case the actor Suraj Pancholi are accused.
On June 3, 2013, Jiah Khan’s body was found hanging from the ceiling fan in Mumbai. Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Khan saw her daughter first after the suicide. Before embracing death, Jia Khan had written a suicide note, in which she made many serious allegations against Sooraj Pancholi, son and boyfriend of actor Aditya Pancholi.

In this case, the police had arrested Suraj Pancholi on charges of abetment to suicide and later on July 1, 2013, he got bail from the Bombay High Court. Since then this matter is going on continuously.
Mother had done the mother of CBI investigation
Unhappy with the police investigation, Jia Khan’s mother had demanded a CBI inquiry to get justice for her daughter. For this, he had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court and appealed to transfer the case to the CBI. In 2014, the court accepted his appeal and handed over the case to the CBI. The mother alleged that her daughter did not commit suicide but it was a murder.
Trial started in 2019
The hearing of this case is being done by the special judge of CBI. The trial in the case started in 2019. In the year 2015, the CBI had filed a charge sheet in this case and made Sooraj Pancholi an accused in the case of abetting Jiah Khan to commit suicide.

In January this year, Suraj Pancholi’s lawyer had reached the special court and appealed for speedy hearing of the case and issuing summons to the witnesses. He had said that Suraj Pancholi is facing difficulties due to the delay in the hearing of the case. After this, the hearing of the case gained momentum. In the final hearing on 20 April, the judge had said that he would try to pronounce the verdict on 28 April.
