UP state secretary Meenakshi Srivastava and district president Bhupendra Yadav said the workers had also demanded that Sanjay Singh be made the chief minister. UP is preparing to contest the Uttar Pradesh elections on issues of power, water, health and education.

Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday announced that he will contest the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. He said he had formed the Aam Aadmi Party six years ago through a mass movement. UP has already formed a successful government three times.
