Kerala Election Result: LDF mayoral candidate loses to NDA in Thiruvananthapuram!


Bangla Hunt Desk: Kerala Election Local Kerala Election Result is being counted today. According to the state Election Commission, counting of votes is underway in 244 centers in the state. The count is expected to be completed by noon. Section 144 has been implemented in some areas of Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kasaragod before the election results were declared due to law and order and Kovid-19. No more than four people are allowed to gather there.

On the other hand, the Left in power in 2015 won 549 gram panchayats, 90 block panchayats, 44 municipalities and four corporations. At the district panchayat level, both the UDF and the LDF won seven seats each. The BJP did well in Thiruvananthapuram Corporation and Palakkad municipality.

So far in this count, LDF has won in 6 wards, NDA in three wards and UDF in one ward in Thiruvananthapuram. According to the latest figures, LDF's mayoral candidate S Puspalata lost to NDA candidate by 145 votes.

According to the latest Kerala election statistics, out of 941 seats in the Pram Panchayat, LDF is leading in 403, UDF in 341 and NDA in 29 seats. The others are ahead in 56 seats. Out of 152 seats in the block panchayat, LDF won 152 seats, UDF won 56 seats and NDA won only two seats.

The ruling party LDF is leading in 11 of the 14 district panchayat seats, and the UDF is leading in three seats. Out of 6 seats in the municipality, LDF is leading in 36 seats, UDF in 39 seats, NDA in three seats and others in six seats. Out of the six seats in the corporation, LDF is leading in four seats and UDF in two seats.
