Kohli blamed the cricketer for losing the embarrassing match, he said.

Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore and KL Rahul’s Sunrisers Hyderabad faced off in a crucial IPL match at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Gujarat on Friday. Batting first in this match, Punjab Kings made 179 runs in the allotted 20 overs. RCB’s innings ended with 145 runs in reply. Punjab Kings won the match by 34 runs.

After the match, captain Virat Kohli blamed the bowlers for losing the match. “We put pressure on Punjab by taking wickets in the beginning,” Kohli said. We were also able to pick up wickets in the middle but our bowlers failed to put pressure on them despite Punjab losing 5 wickets towards the end. Thanks to which the bowlers forgot and due to lack of proper planning we scored 20 to 25 runs more, that became the turning point of the match.

RCB batsman Rajat Patidar played a slow innings of 31 off 30 balls in this match. “We failed to bat as planned,” Virat said after losing the match. Rajat is a good player but he could not bat due to his constant wickets. And it is clear from Virat Kohli’s statement that he had hoped for a more aggressive innings from Rajat but Rajat failed.
