Lenovo has announced a variety of updates to its ThinkPad line. We’re finding upgrades to the light-weight ThinkPad X13 and convertible X13 Yoga, as effectively as the superior-conclusion T-Collection, the budget-oriented L-Sequence, and the P-Collection of mobile workstations.

The major information is that all of these products have gotten spec bumps. Every single sequence involves models with AMD’s Ryzen 5000 mobile processors as effectively as Intel’s 11th Gen vPro chips. They are also obtaining connectivity updates, including some solutions for Wi-Fi 6E on the Intel units and Wi-Fi 6 for the AMD kinds. Some types guidance 5G as nicely.

The information I’m personally most thrilled about is that the X13 i (Intel), X13 (AMD), and X13 Yoga (Intel) are getting 16:10 displays. Suppliers across the board have been switching to taller screens for small business and productiveness notebooks. They give you much more home for multitasking and less of a need for scrolling and zooming out. There is also a new Dolby Audio speaker method with consumer-facing speakers on the X13 — they were being bottom-firing on preceding versions.

The up-to-date T-Sequence (which includes the T14s i, T14 i, and T15 with Intel and the T14s and T14 with AMD), L-Series (which includes the L14 and L15 with AMD and the L14 i and L15 i with Intel), and the P-Sequence (together with the P14s, P14s i, and P15s) all include the new chips as properly. The models also have new stability selections such as Match-on-Chip fingerprint visitors some Intel systems including the T14s i and X13 i have human existence-detection sensors.

And here’s the ThinkPad L15, Gen 2.

Pricing and availability are a little bit puzzling, so bear with me. It seems like most of the Intel versions are coming in March, while the AMD models are coming in Could. The X13 Yoga is the exception — it is coming in April. The T-Collection commences at $1,159 (for the T14), the L-Series commences at $689 (for both of those styles), and the P-Sequence begins at $1,3169 (for the P14s). The X13 starts at $1,139 (for the AMD design) and the X13 Yoga starts at $1,379.
