Munna Chauhan went to Libya

Munna Chauhan is a resident of Gadhia Basantapur village under Nebua Naorangia police station area of ​​Kushinagar district in Uttar Pradesh. He went to Libya in September 2019 as an iron welder through ND Enterprise Travel Agency. His visa was due to expire on September 13, 2020.

The family suspects that he did not return home

On September 13, Munna Chauhan called his house and said that he would return. He said he would board a flight from Libya to Delhi on September 17. But since he has not been in touch with Munna Chauhan, Lallan Prasad reached the travel agency in Delhi. While there, he may find out that 7 more Indians, including Munna Chauhan, have been abducted by terrorists in Libya.

After the incident, Lallan Prasad lodged an online FIR with Delhi's Prasadpur police station. The Foreign Ministry was also contacted for their release. However, Lallan Prasad said the travel agency was also ready to pay the ransom demanded by the terrorists.
