Bengali Hunt Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today held important meetings with the chief ministers of all the states on how to take the fight against the corona virus forward. In a video conference, Home Minister Amit Shah called on all chief ministers to strictly observe the lockdown.
According to sources, he says the government will give some concessions to trade and industry with caution. Let everyone move forward under the guidance of PM Modi. He further said that this fight is very big so we have to fight with patience.
A two-phase lockdown has been imposed in the country since March 25 to curb the spread of the corona virus. Since the onset of the Corona crisis in the country, Prime Minister Modi has held four video conferences with state chief ministers since March 22. According to sources, Prime Minister Modi told the meeting, “This is our fourth meeting. I have private talks with all the Chief Ministers. Our efforts have been somewhat successful. I can see the effect of the lockdown. And because of the lockdown, we are in a much better place. ”
Apart from Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, senior officials from the Prime Minister's Office and other ministries were present at the meeting. All the Chief Ministers including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee were also present. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Bijayan did not attend the meeting. Everyone including the Prime Minister and Home Minister took part in the meeting wearing face masks.
