The country’s largest car manufacturer is planning to launch its latest and most expensive model, the Toyota Hicross-based MPV, in June or July this year. According to reports,Ltd. in India Engage The name is trademarked. It is likely to be the name of Maruti’s premium MPV. The new MPV will be another badge-engineered product from the partnership between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota.
There is not much information about the new upcoming MPV at the moment. But in this model Toyota will be based on Innova Highcross. On the exterior, the new MPV will get a slightly redesigned design to differentiate it from the Highcross. It is likely that apart from the exterior, there will not be much difference on the interior side. Powertrain options can be found like the upcoming model Innova Hycross.
Maruti Suzuki Engage: Features
According to the reports, the company has recently launched its on-new crossover SUV Frunks. The Frons has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 7,46,500 lakh, which goes up to Rs 13.14 lakh for the top-spec variant. The SUV is available with two engine options – a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, with the base and mid-specification models of the Frunks sharing the 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, aspirated petrol engine with the Baleno. These engines generate maximum power of 90 PS and maximum torque of 113 Nm. Both 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearboxes are available.
Maruti Suzuki Engage Launched
The Maruti version of the Toyota Innova Highcross could be launched in the next two months and bookings are also likely to start by June 2023. Talking about its price, its price can be Rs 29 lakh (ex-showroom).
