Maruti Invicto: Specifications

Just like the Maruti Grand Vitara is produced at Toyota’s Bidadi plant, the new Invicto MPV will also be produced here. Toyota will manufacture this car and supply it to Maruti. The upcoming car will be based on Toyota’s TNGA-C platform. This car will be launched with a 2.0 liter strong hybrid engine.

Will get 7 or 8 seats

Talking about the seating arrangement, the Invicto can be offered in 7 or 8 seater variants. The price of Maruti Invicto can be expensive in comparison to Innova Highcross. The petrol variant of the Highcross ranges between Rs 18.55 lakh to Rs 19.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas, the ex-showroom price of its strong hybrid version is Rs 25.03-29.99 lakh.

Maruti’s first fully automatic car

Maruti Invicto and Innova Highcross will be produced on the same assembly line. However, it remains to be seen how Toyota manages to balance the production of the Maruti Invicto and the Innova Highcross. It will be offered with CVT and e-CVT transmission options. The Invicto will be the first car from Maruti to come with a fully automatic gearbox.
