Bangla Hunt Desk: A large explosion has occurred at a house in Johar Town, Lahore, Pakistan. Four people were reported killed in the blast. In addition, 18 people, including women and children, were seriously injured. Johar Town is the area where the notorious militant Hafiz Saeed lived. Pakistan’s Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bajdar has directed the police to investigate the incident.
According to Pakistani media reports, police and bomb experts have left to investigate and rescue the blast outside Hafiz Saeed’s home. According to eyewitnesses, the blast was so horrific that the glass windows and doors of nearby houses were shattered. A building was extensively damaged, as were several vehicles parked there.
Officials said 18 people were injured and were taken to Jinnah Hospital. The condition of many of them is said to be critical. As a result, the death toll could rise further. “The injured are being brought here. We have appealed to the people to donate blood for the treatment of the injured,” Jinnah Hospital authorities said.
