The auto was the Fiat Abarth 1000 SP launched in 1966, and it was a sporting activities prototype developed for the FIA’s Appendix J Group 6 laws for automobiles with engines up to 1. liter in displacement. It ran a 1.-liter inline-4 earning about 105 hp.
A team of Stellantis engineers to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Fiat Abarth 1000 SP resolved to switch an instance of the discontinued Alfa Romeo 4C Spider into a contemporary interpretation.

The resulting motor vehicle, which is formally a concept, remains faithful to the unique Abarth racer, suitable down to the mid-mounted inline-4, in this case the 4C’s 1.75-liter turbocharged inline-4 great for 237 hp.
