Modi government launches Mamata Banerjee's proposed Krishan Rail, farmers will see profit in difficult times

2009-10 Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee first proposed the Krishan Railway when she was the Railway Minister. The present Chief Minister of Bengal has proposed this special air-conditioned train to take the vegetables and fruits that rot quickly from one end of the country to the other in a short time.

Today, after more than a decade, that train has started running in the country From today, the first Krishan train will run from Debalali in Maharashtra to Danapur in Bihar. Nirmala Sitharaman, the finance minister in the Modi government, had promised to run the train during the presentation of the budget in February.

The train left Deballi at 11 am today. The country's first Krishan train will reach Danapur by 7 pm tomorrow after completing a 32-hour journey across 1519 km of roads. The train will deliver fruits and vegetables produced in Nasik and adjoining areas of Maharashtra to multiple places including Manmar, Jalgaon, Bhusabal, Burhanpur, Khandba, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Katni, Manikpur, Prayagraj, Chowki, Deendayal Upadhyay.

As it turns out, this train is completely air-conditioned. In this, various perishable agricultural products including vegetables, fruits, flowers will reach from one place of the country to another.
