Modi's big gift in Diwali, will inaugurate a project worth Tk 72 crore today

Before Diwali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi brought a big gift to the people of his constituency Kashi. Today, November 9, Prime Minister Modi is going to inaugurate a project worth a total of Tk 72 crore in Kashi through video conferencing. Prime Minister Modi will launch 19 virtual projects and lay the foundation stone of 18 projects. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the function from Lucknow.

The 19 projects that the Prime Minister will inaugurate today have cost Tk 232 crore. However, the novelty of these projects is that all these 19 projects were completed during the Corona period. Besides, the projects that will lay the foundation stone will cost Tk 475 crore.

The program includes construction of Tk 117 crore seed store, IPDS Phase-II, teacher building constructed at a cost of Tk 60 crore, 29.7 crore regional anthropology wing, 19 crore Ganga pollution control, cattle protection center, boundary wall of central jail, airport passenger bridge, sports. Infrastructural development work will be done in the stadium from Rs 6.6 crore, upgrade of 16.4 Ramnagar Hospital, MCH branch of Rs 45 crore will be started in BHU.

Varanasi Commissioner Deepak Agarwal said that the special feature of the projects released on October 9 was that all these projects were completed during the lockdown period of the Corona period. A project worth around Tk 10,000 crore is underway in district Varanasi. These projects will be completed by December next year. Many projects can be completed earlier.
