The police inspector led a special operation to arrest 20 foreign nationals from Mumbra after conducting a Tabligh Jamaat in Delhi's Nizamuddin area amid an outbreak of the Corona virus.

The foreigners first went to Tamil Nadu and then to Mumbra, Maharashtra. Then they covered the mosque and the school.

They did not appear before the authorities even after the government appealed. They were then raided to arrest them. The Mumbra police had filed a lawsuit against mosques and school trustees for the protection of foreign nationals and for not informing the police and administration.

After arresting members of the Tabligh Jamaat from Mumbra, the police inspector sent those 25 foreign nationals and trustees to Quarantine and applied for their coroner's examination. Then the coroner's symptoms were found in the officer who led the police team. His report came out positive on Friday. He is currently undergoing treatment at Nasik's Apollo Hospital.
